Dung beetle 1024x1024 1 - PROFESSIONAL GROUNDCARE & AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT

PADDOCK CLEANER – THE ALL NEW DUNG BEETLE Picking up dung in the paddock is a painstaking task yet one that is of course necessary to maintain a clean and healthy environment for the animals. You can save a massive amount of time and effort with the new Dung Beetle paddock cleaner from Wessex International.

Manufactured in their own new factory in Andover – yes it’s a British designed and built product – employing the latest laser cutting technology, the Dung Beetle is a paddock cleaner that has superior strength and yet is lighter than its predecessor “our toughest yet,” say Wessex.

The new, modern design features a re-designed tipping latch and the machine is easier to winch and tip to empty onto the heap. Towed behind an ATV, UTV or tractor the Dung Beetle is powered by a new Loncin engine for performance and reliability. The tried and tested collection system of spring tines combines with the sweeping action of the bristles to effectively pick up stubborn muck while grooming the grass to encourage fresh growth, something you don’t get with vacuum machines. Operating it is easily done from your seat.

With all this going for it you would imagine the new Dung Beetle would be more expensive than the old and in that you will be pleasantly surprised to find it’s not the case. With the most advanced manufacturing techniques available to them, Wessex have actually managed to reduce the engineering costs and pass this on to the customer, without sacrificing the strength and integrity of the machine. All in all then, the new Dung Beetle paddock cleaner is there for the picking and well worth considering for the busy equestrian yard, racing and riding stables and private horse owners, as well as for anyone grazing all types of animals, from alpacas to zoo inhabitants, where a clean paddock is an essential part of day-to-day maintenance.
